Meet The Mitchell's 

TAYLOR MITCHELL

Taylor, the eldest of the Mitchell boys, graduated from Mount Si High School in 2011 garnishing muiltiple awards throughout his football career. For his senior season in 2010, he was a Team Captain, Team MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, Most Inspirational Player, 1st Team All-KingCo Linebacker and an All-State Nominee. 

Following his career at Mount Si, Taylor played in every game of his 4 year career at Division II Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA. For his senior season, he was a Team Captain and starting inside linebacker, where he helped lead the Jacks to the post season for the first time in 48 years and win their first post-season game in 50 years. He was a semi-finalist for the Campbell Trophy (Academic Heisman), a 2nd Team All-Conference Linebacker for the GNAC, Strength and Conditioning All-American, a CoSIDA Academic All-District Linebacker, and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of HSU. He spent his first year out of playing football as the Linebacker Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Humboldt State and then as a Recruiting Specialist at the University of Washington. 

He is now the Associate Head Coach at Mount Si where he also helps coach the Defensive Backs and Special Teams

JOSH MITCHELL

Josh, the second eldest, graduated from Mount Si in 2012 after playing 4 years in the football program 2008-2011. He garnished multiple awards and accolades including being a Team Captain, 1st Team All-KingCo Offensive Lineman, 2nd Team All-KingCo Defensive Lineman, KingCo Lineman of the Year, All-State Offensive Lineman, Seattle Times All-Area Team, Team MVP and Team Lineman of the Year. 

After graduating, Josh played on every offensive snap for his last 2 years when he was the starting center at Oregon State University. He played in 47 consecutive games, starting 27 at center over his 4 year career, including 10 games his freshman year. He was named the 1st Team Center on the AP Pac-12 All-Conference Team and was Honorable Mention on the Pac-12 All-Conference Team. He was also a team captain for his senior year. Josh is now the Offensive Coordinator at Mount Si High School and has been the Offensive Line Coach since 2016.

NICK MITCHELL

Nick played quarterback at Mount Si from 2010-2013 shattering multiple school records and was a key piece to the Mount Si team that made it all the way to the State Semi-Finals in 2012. He was a 1st Team All-KingCo quarterback for 2 seasons, KingCo Player of the Year, Team Captain, Team Offensive Player of the Year, and helped set team records for Total Offense in a Game, Passing Yards in a Game, Points Scored in a Season, and has individual records for Passing Offense in a Season, Passing Yardage in a Career, Pass Completions in a Career, Touchdown Passes Career, and Total Offensive Yardage in a Career. 

Nick redshirted in his first year at Oregon State behind Pac-12 Record holder and current NFL QB Sean Mannion. Nick was one of 7 QBs competing for the starting job in spring of 2015 and he eventually started 5 games for the Beavers before deciding to transfer at the end of the season. Nick was an Honorable Mention QB on the Pac-12 All-Academic Team and was nominated for the Offensive Player of the Week for his performance on the road versus Utah. He played the 2016 season at Cerritos Junior College and at Southern Oregon in 2017 where he finished his playing career.

CALEB MITCHELL

Caleb just completed his Redshirt Sophomore season at the University of Montana where he is playing Safety and Long Snapping. As a player at Mount Si, he enjoyed a great career playing Receiver, Corner and Long Snapping for the Wildcats. He too enjoyed a stellar high school career as he was also a Team Captain, All-KingCo Honorable Mention Safety, All-KingCo Honorable Mention Wide Receiver and a National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete.

SARA MITCHELL

Youngest of the Mitchell Family, Sara is a Senior at Mt. Si High School. She competes as a member of MSHS women's volleyball and was a member of Sudden Impact Volleyball Club. Watching her brothers compete on the football field, along with her own competitive sports career, has shaped her into a charismatic young woman who enjoys teaching and sharing her knowledge with others. 

She will be graduating this Spring and will be attending WSU this fall.
